Great post Zach! I think I can agree on everything you said because I snowboard any chance I get over winter. I know your post discussed how it's a good form of exercise and how that's beneficial, but one of the things I love most about snowboarding is the fresh air. Just getting away from Denver and other polluted areas and being able to breathe is what made me want to snowboard. The gyms have been packed in Colorado with few regulations other than wearing a mask and i've been looking for an alternative. However, one of the concerning factors is how many people get injured, especially younger adults and they suffer many wrist and ACL injuries (Kim, 2012). Not only that, but one ethical concern is how snowboarding and skiing is a sport for the rich. If snowboarding was a cheaper and easily accessible, I would be all for it, but I just can't ignore how expensive snowboarding can get.
