100% agree. I have been previously prescribed Adderall and Concerta for ADHD and narcolepsy. At the time, it worked wonders. Amazing focus, retained my material easily, and didn't have issues falling asleep throughout the day. Once my narcolepsy was managed by a different medication and my sleep quality improved, the stimulants didn't offer the same benefit. I felt on edge, almost "cracked out" with no sign of the enhanced focus that I had benefited from before. I can see where someone who doesn't have ADHD would think stimulants would give them an edge, but in reality it provides no benefit whatsoever.
